Bahamas, finally!

After waiting for weeks in Florida for a weather window to cross the Gulf Stream, we finally caught a break.  We staged out of “No Name Harbour” in Key Biscayne and left at sunset arriving in Bimini early the next morning.  Blowing 20kts on the nose to begin with, the wind finally died down after midnight.

Daddy and Kathryn sat at the helm into the wee hours of the morning eating snickers, drinking coffee and killing me at backgammon.
